2010 APA-IN Spring Conference
NOTE: If you would like help navigating the new online registration system, contact Deborah Luzier at (317) 258-8046.
This professional development conference will be held at the Ball State University Alumni Center, 2800 W Bethel Avenue, Muncie, IN on March 26, 2010. Registration and breakfast opens at 7:30am and the conference begins at 8:15am.
This year’s conference is primarily focused on positioning Indiana cities, towns and counties for economic recovery through planning practices, market awareness and economic strategies. We have assembled a group of professionals who will be able to illustrate how to improve the opportunity for new growth and investment. The conference will help planners understand the local economy, what triggers growth and investment, and how the market will be different during and after the national economic recovery.
- In addition to the theme mentioned above, we are also offering a planning law session and planning ethics session.
- During the luncheon, the APA-IN Awards Committee will present their selection for outstanding work and advancements in planning.
The conference speakers are predominantly persons who have not presented at previous APA-IN conferences, so you’re sure to hear new perspectives and material.
For planners seeking CM Credits, the conference will offer 6 hours of CM credits, including the ability to earn the full requirements for Ethics and Law.
